This project made a few LEDs to flash in a loop or flash randomly.

Those are my pd projects for the workshop module.

The first one is to use pd to mix two short videos.

This second one is to play random frames in one video.

Candlestick

In the module Contemporary Arts, we need to re-mediate an object from the collection of HUNT Museum.

I choose a metal candle stick. Above is the picture. 

I went to the IDC lab to find materials. Then I picked some pieces of aluminum and some wood sticks as the main materials. 
Also I found some capacitances and wires as decorated rings and  nozzles.
The most difficult part is to use the aluminum pieces to make the round base of the candle stick.
 It need to be calculated exactly to make sure the pieces can be sticked to a column shape.
 Also it is difficult to glue it seamlessly and I used a glue and some screws to adhere all the pieces and wood sticks. 

Now I have finished mostly and need to decorate it somehow.

Presentation for the final projects

Ok, we have done the presentations for our final projects today from 2p.m to almost 7p.m.
some in our class challenge the interaction between space( city or public places) and people.
some have talked about visualize database or build a virtual platform for the Hunt Museum to give visitors a tour online.
One has talked about architecture film which is a simulated world for users to experience.
One is planning to make a music retrieval  engine.
Some have ideas for teaching children with more interesting and advanced interfaces.
Mine is to make a graphic landline phone which can display pictures. I put up my slides online. Here is the link.

Presentation for tomorrow

Tomorrow we will do the presentation for our final projects. I have my slides done and I am going to talk about the most challenging parts of my projects and what do i need to learn .Also I am looking forward my classmates' presentation because their projects are all very difficult but brilliant.
I will upload my slides and talk about how the presentation is like later.

Project for Hunt Museum

Everybody should choose a object from the collection of Hunt Museum . Then make a model of the object using waste materials .
